JUST BREATHE, A ROADMAP FOR MODERN MINDFULNESS
Just Breathe is a community project with a simple mission, to turn the volume down and bring the conversation of modern mindfulness and meditation into the real world. Launched in London in 2016, Just Breathe has created moments of mass mindfulness and opportunities for real human connection through events, gatherings, community projects and charitable initiative. Founded by Michael James Wong, Just Breathe is helping to create impact and change in the real world to help people live mindfully, every single day.

Community /// We believe that as human beings we belong together, in fact we’re better off this way. So everything we do is about bringing people together. From our events and gatherings, to our community spaces on & offline, to our community and charity initiatives that are working to make our world a better place, it’s always together.

Connection /// At the core of this project is a real human connection; with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us. Just Breathe is an ever-growing community on & offline that strives to support real people in the real world as they practice Modern Mindfulness in their every day lives

Quiet /// These days the world is a loud place & we need to turn the volume down. We need to cultivate the quiet life. Our aim at Just Breathe are to create and provide the tools, techniques, resources & experience for real world stillness. 

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Launched in London in September 2016 by modern meditator, teacher & author of Sit Down, Be Quiet, Michael James Wong, Just Breathe was started as a small group gathering of friends and local community members who were inspired to turn the volume down. The aim of that first event was simple, to bring a group of people together in stillness.
Little did we know that over 200ppl would show up to that first event. And it was a beautiful thing. 
So we did it again the next month, and the next month after that. And the community grew and grew and grew.

As the projects continues to grow and expand in 2018, the movement is now in full stride with past events at The Shard, The Old Truman Brewery and The British Museum. Our events, workshops & Grand Gatherings are created as an oasis of space for everyone in our growing community all around the world, to step into less, make positive change, and experience the benefits of turning the volume down.
We've started this new conversation, and it's only getting quieter.

- Join our Grand Gatherings for an an evening of live music, spirited discussion, the science of mindfulness & a mass meditation, an experience like no other
