Mindful coffee tasting

Amsterdam Coffee Festival, 1-3 March 2019
London Coffee Festival, 2-5 April 2019

We paired up with the London and Amsterdam Coffee festival to create a mindful drinking experience, drawing visitors into the origins, taste notes, texture, sounds and flavours of a drink many of us enjoy every single day without much thought or consideration.

This brand-new multi-sensory, guided and meditative coffee tasting experience was designed for festival visitors to immerse themselves in and appreciate coffee in a truly unique way. It is meaningful and memorable coffee experience encouraging visitors to develop a deeper appreciation of high-grade specialty coffee.

Set away from the hustle and bustle of the festival, The experience took place in a calm and relaxing environment. This experience shifts visitors’ approach to how they consume coffee at both home and work, and also educates them about the benefits of meditation, specialty coffee and ethical sourcing.

Each experience was 45 minutes, giving visitors an in-depth insight into in “The Mindful Coffee Movement” - a new holistic approach to coffee drinking which encourages people to source, brew and consume coffee more mindfully, while minimising waste, and supporting coffee farming communities.

Guests were guided meditative coffee tasting session Just Breathe Founder, Michael James Wong before participating in an exciting educational discussion with Caravan Coffee Roasters.
