December Quiet Club, in aid of Crisis London

Discussing and practising Kindness at our monthly gathering

A special shout out and thank you to everyone who joined us at our our monthly community event Quiet Club in December.

To everyone who bought a ticket, donated, wrapped a present and wrote a card you'll be pleased to know we managed to raise almost £1,000 for a great cause. More than 70 people joined us at Mortimer House for an evening of community, connection and quiet. Together we wrapped over 500 presents, that we then hand delivered on Chritmas Day to a Crisis UK homeless shelter in London.

The evening was all about kindness; giving it, receiving it and sharing it. We hand wrote over 500 cards to pair with each gift, so while the presents filled with socks, gloves, pillows, chocolates and raincoats will be so needed, it will be these hand written notes, with kind words and personal messages will mean so much.
