JUST BREATHE LEVEL 1 TRAINING

Just Breathe is a practice of quiet connection that utilises breathwork, meditation and deep rest as essential practices to support your mind and mental health. Our certified training method uses NSRT, Nervous System Response Techniques that utilise a multidisciplinary approach to calm the mind, reduce hyper stimulation, manage stress and cultivate deep inward attention. 

 

Our course will help you learn the tools and techniques to safely guide breathwork and meditation practices to regulate and support the nervous systems and create a calm and quiet connection within. 

Our certified level 1 training will empower you with the understanding and approach to guide others safely. The Just Breathe Teacher Training course is a comprehensive method to functional and systematic breathwork techniques and a multidisciplinary approach to meditation.

A QUIET COMMUNITY

Learning to guide meditation and breathwork is more than just learning techniques to guide, it’s about stepping into a community of like minded people who are empowered to share the power of theses practices with the world. Just Breathe has always been a community first organisation, and is constantly dedicated to creating spaces of belonging for people to come together.

Through our training academy and global community of teachers, we are inspired by our many guides around the world who are committed to supporting the mind and mental health of our collective wellbeing.

By becoming a Level 1 Just Breathe Certified Meditation and Breathwork Guide, you will become a part of this community of global guides and have access and invitation to our community of onward care which includes; monthly gatherings of our Just Breathe Guides , additional trainings & workshops, online and video content and lecture and more.

ONLINE ZOOM SESSIONS

After each session you will have access to 5hrs of on demand practices and resources in the course library. You will be expected to complete the hours between each session.

The second half of the training will consist of a five day in-person immersion training that is essential to your learning and development. 

IN-PERSON TRAINING DAYS

This will be hosted in a central London location with a daily schedule from 8:30 - 5:30pm.
The focus on the in-person immersion is to have significant time together, guiding others, gaining feedback and insights and diving deeper with your mentors, teachers and fellow trainees.

Course Facilitator
Michael James Wong


This course will be lead by Meditation Teacher and Just Breathe Founder, Michael James Wong. Michael is a leading voice in the global movement for modern mindfulness and has been teaching and facilitating trainings worldwide for the past 15 years.

He is an author, speaker, community leader and meditation teacher who is dedicated to expanding the conversation around the mind and mental health. Michael is internationally recognised for his work in the wellness community as both as an advocate and entrepreneur. He writes books about hope and is the voice behind the Just Breathe meditation app.

COURSE MENTORS

This course will be supported and mentored by our Certified Just Breathe Guides and support team. During the training you will be placed into smaller groups which will give you personal support and ongoing mentorship. Mentors will be there from the first day to the last to answer any and all questions, as well as lead practices and discussion throughout the contact and non-contact time.

LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION

Throughout the training there will be coursework and practical assessments. This is to ensure the course material and techniques are understood and embodied. As a training school we have a duty of care to ensure all Just Breathe Guides are prepared to share and have completed all course assessments. 

During the training there will be a daily group meditation (on Zoom) as well as practice teaching sessions, and final assessments as part of the level 1 certification. Once completed you will be able to use the designation of JUST BREATHE CERTIFIED LEVEL 1 - MEDITATION AND BREATHWORK TEACHER.

COURSE PREQUISITES

To ensure you are adequately prepared to participate in this training, we ask that you have had 3-6 months of personal breathwork and/or meditation practice.
