Michael talks to multiple award-nominated blogger, screenwriter and author Uju Asika, expanding the conversation about her experiences with racism and why raising kind kids is so important.
This is a powerful conversation about living as a minority in the UK, with an open and honest look at the experiences of growing up in a culture ready to mark you as different and the changes we can make, not just as parents but as compassionate human beings.
“One minute you are just yourself, in your own world singing a song strolling down the street, and next minute it’s like - Oh, okay I’m a minority, and I am not wanted.”
